Power Chemical Corporation offers a full line of cutting and grinding fluids for ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Below are some examples of compounds we are currently manufacturing. If one of these compounds does not suit your needs, we will custom formulate one that does.
SYNTHETICS
Power Kool 500 A nitrite free, synthetic fluid recommended for cutting and grinding of titanium, stainless steel, and various other alloys. This compound provides excellent in-process rust protection to machined surfaces.
Power Kool 501 A general-purpose, synthetic cutting and grinding fluid for use on ferrous metals. This compound is low foaming, easily dilluted, and has excellent hard water stability, and rust inhibiting abilities. It is not recommended for use on non-ferrous metals.
SEMI-SYNTHETICS
Power Kool 615 The latest in the Power Kool line. PK 615 can be used in virtally any operation. This product provides excellent lubricity and life due to the excellent biocide package.
Power Kool 400 A water-soluble, semi-synthetic cutting and grinding fluid. This compound contains an exceptional high pressure additives package. It is to be used on ferrous metals and alloy steel.
Power Kool 401 A semi-synthetic, water-soluble cutting and grinding fluid. This compound is extremely heavy duty. It contains high-lubricity additives along with excellent rust prevention and eliminates gummy build-up.
Power Kool 403 A cutting and grinding fluid that is mostly used around the shop. It performs well on medium-duty machining of mild steels, such as drilling, etc...
Power Kut 404 (Aluminum) A cutting and grinding fluid designed for use on aluminum and various sensitive alloys. It provides excellent cooling while maintaining a clean cutting and grinding surface.
SOLUBLE OILS
Power Kut 600 A medium to light-duty soluble oil. This compound does an excellent job on reaming, tapping, and broaching. It provides exceptional detergency and can be used on non-ferrous metals.
Power Sol 603 A very, heavy duty soluble oil. It performs exceptionally well on reaming, tapping, broaching, and most severe operations.
STRAIGHT OILS
Smart Kut Series Designed for specific metals, and to perform in severe operations.
